Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did not make an appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards.
The 34-year-old popstar is currently busy with the European leg of her Eras Tour.
The songstress will be performing at two concerts in Milan on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, after getting done with a two-show stint in Zürich on Wednesday, July 10.
The ESPY Awards took place in Los Angeles on Thursday night and Kelce, who also didn’t attend the event, his team Kansas City Chiefs was nominated for Best Team.
Although neither Swift nor Kelce attended the sports night, host Serena Williams made the couple the topic of her monologue.
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs. This year, Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend won a Super Bowl,” she joked, referring to the title Kelce, 34, has earned ever since his romance with Swift, also 34.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid was also present in the crowd.
“Travis and Taylor reportedly spent $100,000 a day on their romance. That’s a lot of money. That’s what I’ve been told [Boston Celtics shooting guard] Jaylen Brown spends on his beard. It’s very shiny. I like it though,” Williams further teased.
