Winona Ryder is finally addressing the recent Met Gala dress controversy involving Kendall Jenner.
The Stranger Things star, 52, spoke out in a Harper’s Bazaar cover story, seemingly disputing the 28-year-old supermodel's claim that she was the "first human" to wear an archival Givenchy dress that Ryder once modeled.
The actress revealed she "did wear" the slinky black piece in a 1999 Flaunt magazine shoot.
However, Jenner's statement perked up the ears of various fashionistas, who dug up a picture of Ryder wearing the dress long before Jenner.
At the time, Page Six confirmed that Ryder wore a replica, but in her Harper’s Bazaar interview, Ryder seemed to imply she wore the original.
“I do remember that photo shoot. And I did wear it. I have pictures,” the Beetlejuice actress recalled.
“The photographer gave me some prints. I’m in a tartan in one of them, and I’m in that dress,” she added.
