Paul Walter Hauser has hit out at Vin Diesel after he was being compared with Fast And Furious alum.
Speaking to CinemaBlend, Paul, who is currently promoting Inside Out 2, gave a strong reaction when an interviewer likened his voice performance to Vin’s work in Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Please don't say that. I like to think I'm on time and approachable,” stated Paul.
He said, “Sorry, I love people, but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who get paid really well and mistreat people, I out them constantly.”
“And it's a blast,” he added.
To note, Paul and Vin had never worked together in any movie or show. However, Vin and old co-star Dwayne Johnson were reportedly involved in years-long public feud after working together on multiple movies in the Fast and the Furious franchise.
However, the feud was reportedly settled after Dwayne appeared in 2023's Fast X.
Earlier in a 2021 interview with Men’s Health, Vin mentioned, “It was a tough character to embody, the Hobbs character.”
“My approach at the time was a lot of tough love to assist in getting that performance where it needed to be,” noted the actor.
Meanwhile, Fast and Furious co-star, Ludacris, previously spoke about his close relationship with Vin in a May 2023 interview with Access Hollywood.
“Vin’s recognition means everything to me. I had everything I needed here today, my entire family,” noted the 46-year-old.
Ludacris mentioned, “To hear Vin say those words, it just blew me away because I have conversations with him one-on-one all the time.”
“But when you speak in front of the world and then you talk about my characteristics, that's a whole different category of him just pouring his heart out,” he added.
