King Charles has been asked to be careful while making decisions at the time when the royal family is going through a difficult phase.

The King and his eldest son Prince William have carried out so many duties recently despite royal health woes. The two senior royals' latest engagements are being praised morale boosting activities at a truly stressful and difficult time as Charles and Kate are receiving treatment in their battle against cancer.

However, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes: "This is a time of unprecedented crisis with the King and Princess of Wales seriously ill and Princess Anne, one of the most popular and hardest working members of the royal family, has been admitted to hospital with minor injuries and concussion."

The expert, in his piece of writing for Express, claimed: "All this demonstrates that the idea of a 'slimmed down monarchy' is most unwise."

The commentator seemingly urged the monarch to give more royal responsibilities to the young royals.

Fitzwilliams also shared his knowledge about Andrew and King's reported rift over the royal lodge, writing: "I doubt he will do so willingly, his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie might also be involved. However, he remains without a role and without a future."

He also lauded the King for his decision to appoint David Beckham as an Ambassador for the King’s Foundation, which focuses on promoting community harmony. The legendary footballer, both in his sporting career and in his charity work, is a unique national figure.

However, their meeting raised eyebrows as it took place at the time when the King's younger son Harry was in London for the St Paul’s Service to commemorate ten years of the Invictus Games. What was extraordinary was that, for whatever reason, father and son did not meet.

On the other hand, Princess Kate - who made her first official public appearance in months at Trooping the Colour on June 15, hopes to attend some events in the summer. Kate, who's famously keen on tennis, and is Patron of the All England Club, could appear during the Wimbledon fortnight.
