David Beckham celebrated his mum’s birthday with some classic "favourite child" banter involving his siblings.
On Wednesday, June 26, the former footballer took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message for his mother, Sandra Beckham.
"Happy Birthday Mum love you so much x the sun is shining and you deserve to have the best day [red heart emoji]," David, 49, began in the caption.
"We love u so much [red heart emoji] Lots of love your favorite child [laughing emoji]," he humorously added, tagging his sisters Lynne Georgina Beckham and Joanne Louise Beckham.
In the comments section of the post, which featured a throwback picture of the three siblings with their mother, Lynne and Joanne joined in on the fun.
"Haha, you beat me to it @davidbeckham love you mum even if David’s your favourite @sandra_beckham49," Joanne wrote with laughing emojis.
"Ha ha you're so funny @davidbeckham we all know you're the golden child. Happy birthday Mum, hope you're having a lovely day," Lynne added along with a row of laughing emojis.
David also celebrated his mother’s birthday on Instagram Stories, sharing a recent photo of the mother-son duo smiling at a table set for two, adorned with various savouries.
