Britney Spears' relationship with her sons seems to be looking at some progress.
Kevin Federline shared an update on his ex’s relationship with their sons Sean, 18, and Jayden, 17, after she allowed the teens to relocate to Hawaii with him last year.
“Reconciliations and the reunification of relationships are difficult and take time,” Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told Entertainment Tonight on June 25.
“They are sometimes complicated and always a lengthy process. The process has not really commenced, let alone [been] completed.”
"The good thing is that the boys saw their mom was doing well and have a desire to speak with her," the attorney continued. "There has been some telephonic communication between Britney and her sons, and we think that is a step in the right direction.”
Kevin asked to move Sean, Jayden, along with his 2013-married wife Victoria Prince to the Aloha State in May 2023.
Afterwards, his lawyer told People that Britney had "consented."
After the decision, September brought milestone birthdays for both boys, with Sean turning 18 and becoming an adult.
