Princess Anne, who received head injury after being hit by a horse during a walk at the Gatcombe Park estate on Sunday, spent second night in hospital.
The Princess Royal, who's under observation, will reportedly remain at Southmead Hospital in Bristol until she fully recovers.
On Tuesday, Anne's husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence visited the ailing royal as King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William warmly welcomed the Emperor and Empress of Japan to the Buckingham Palace.
Anne, who's a full time working royal, was rushed to hospital after suffering 'minor injuries to her head and a concussion'.
Anne's husband looked somber as he visited the hospital, where the 73-year-old is being treated. The King and Queen are also expected to see the hardworking royal after saying goodbye to the visiting foreign dignitaries.
Zara Tindall's mom is in hospital as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery, according to the Palace's initial statement.
"A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury. It's effects are often short term and can include headaches and trouble with concentration, memory, balance, mood and sleep," according to the medical specialists.
