Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas vowed to never tie the knot again after two failed marriages

According to the Daily Express, initially, she wanted to get married to fiancé Danny Taylor as soon as she got the chance, however, her views have changed drastically now.

The head judge appeared on Life’s a Beach podcast by Alan Carr. During the conversation, she opened up about her previous marriages.

"Two marriages, an engagement, two long-term relationships later, and I will not be getting married again," she seemed determined, "I’ve made the decision."

The Queen of Latin was first married to ballroom dancer Sammy Stopford from 1980 until 1984. The following year, they separated.

She married dancer Corky Ballas, but after 22 years together, they divorced in 2007.

"My mum says they’re like buses - you get on one, and you get off the other. It’s fine," she said, adding, "I just have to get used to that again."

Recounting her previous relationship, Ballas remained adamant about not wishing for history to repeat itself.

"I was engaged at 16, married at 19. Remarried at 23 and then two long-term relationships," she shared, admitting her priorities have changed since.

While the 63-year-old BBC star may not walk down the aisle with, Taylor, 50, whom she first met at pantomime rehearsals for Jack and The Beanstalk in 2018, the couple is believed to be in a relationship.
