Joe Alwyn hits red carpet days after addressing Taylor Swift Breakup

Joe Alwyn made his first-ever public appearance since breaking the silence on his split with Taylor Swift.

According to People Magazine, on Thursday, June 20, Alwyn, 33, hit the red carpet for his latest movie, Kinds of Kindness, with fellow co-stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Mamoudou Athie, Margaret Qualley, and Willem Dafoe.

Filmmaker Yargos Lanthimos also joined the cast of the comedy-drama at the New York premiere at the Museum of Art.

The actor looked dapper during his first red carpet appearance, days after he dubbed his former six-year-old relationship with the Cruel Summer chart-topper as "long, loving, fully committed."

He rocked a baby blue blazer over a light blue collared shirt paired with a matching tie, dark dress pants and black glossy shoes.

The Thursday outing comes five days after the Conversations with Friends actor made a rare move of spilling beans about his April 2023 breakup with Swift, 34.

"I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathise and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years," he said in an interview with The Sunday Times Style published on June 15.

"That is a hard thing to navigate," Alwyn recalled, adding, "What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain, and the outside world is able to weigh in."

Additionally, Kinds of Kindness, marked Alwyn’s first feature film since his breakup with Swift, will hit the theatres on Friday, June 21.
