Brad Pitt ‘plans’ proposal for Ines de Ramon despite estrangement with kids

Brad Pitt is planning on a fresh start in his life despite his troubled relations with his children.

According to a source cited by Life & Style, the Babylon actor, 60, planning on proposing to his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon and start a family with her.

“Rumours are swirling Brad is planning to pop the question this summer,” the insider said. “It could happen anytime. Truthfully, Brad has been ready to propose for a while. He’s so happy with Ines.”

The news comes at the heels of Pitt’s heartbreak as his children cut ties with him one by one in a very telling move.

Earlier this month, Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh, whom he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, hired a lawyer with her own money on her 18th birthday to drop her father’s surname legally.

A source previously told Us Weekly that Pitt was “devastated” by Shiloh’s choice to alter her name as he used to be “very close” with her.

“To him, it was more than a change of name — it was a symbol of a deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years,” source explained.

Apart from Shiloh, in November Zahara introduced herself as ‘Zahara Marley Jolie’ at her sorority at Spelman College. Months later, Vivienne followed in her older sister’s footsteps and used ‘Vivienne Jolie’ in a play she took part in.

The Fight Club actor shares Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, with Jolie and the Life & Style source noted that they “no longer want to spend time with Brad.”

However, de Ramon is sympathetic to Pitt over his estrangement with the kids. The insider added that “Ines sees the pain it’s causing and is heartbroken for him. She has been his rock.”

“Brad met her at the perfect moment, having had time to grow after his divorce,” the insider continued. “Once Ines moved in with him last year, he knew he could have a future with her.”

Moreover, “Brad and Ines have been discussing having a baby a lot lately,” the insider said adding Pitt is “super excited about it.”
