Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to be weighing their options should the result of the US elections does not land in their favour.
The Duke of Sussex is currently involved in a legal battle over credibility of his visa following admission to substance use in his memoir, Spare.
US politician Donald Trump, who is also in the running for the presidential seat in the upcoming elections previously laid bare his plans to kick out Harry and Meghan over aforementioned suspicions.
Hence, the Montecito couple is on edge over the prospect of Trump winning against current president Joe Biden.
A source told New Idea magazine: "The Sussexes are worried sick over the prospect of Donald Trump becoming president again - and making good on his vow to kick Prince Harry out of America.
"They're putting together a contingency plan that would see them flee the country with their children [Archie and Lilibet] if Trump does return to office."
Speaking to GB News, the former US president pledged to take “appropriate action” should the Spare author is caught “lying” about drug use in the visa application.
Trump told Nigel Farage: "We'll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they'll have to take appropriate action."
