King Charles appeared in high spirits as he was spotted having a cheery conversation with David Beckham, his newly-appointed ambassador for charity.
The inaugural of the King’s Foundation Awards took place on Tuesday night, June 11th, which was attended by a number of stars at the St. James' Palace.
In photos and videos that emerged from the event, Charles is seen having a chuckle and David also appears amused as they seen to chat with legendary British pop icon Rod Stewart.
Other celebs at the event included Naomi Campbell, Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, and Sienna Miller.
The friendly reunion comes shortly after the former England Football captain for appointed as the ambassador for the charity after they bonded over similar interests, like beekeeping.
“This is a massive thing for him and he’s delighted,’ a source close to the foundation said about David. “He is really passionate about his new role.”
“The King and David Beckham have really bonded over their similar interests,” they noted.
The Awards aims to serve as a platform honouring the outstanding efforts of students, teachers, alumni, and partners who have significantly contributed to the Foundation's mission across various sectors.
