Sutton Foster and Aaron Tveit, co-hosts of the 2024 Drama Desk Awards, shared their admiration for Hugh Jackman.
In an interview with People magazine on June 10, the duo, who had the pleasure of working with the versatile actor, sang his praises, highlighting his talent, dedication, and kind spirit.
"He's one of the greatest guys ever, an incredible costar," said Foster, 49, who starred alongside him in The Music Man, which ran from December 2021 to January 2023 on Broadway.
"And yeah, I think everyone already knows that, though."
"I think it's good to say it, though. I did the Les Misérables film with him, and I couldn't agree more," he told the outlet.
In response to what Jackman taught them, Foster replied, "How to be an amazing leader."
"I would say the same thing," added Tveit. "He was so unbelievable on that set. Had so much more to do than everyone else and handled it quite great."
In addition to working with Hugh Jackman, Foster and Tveit also starred together in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which had a limited run that concluded in May.
