The Prince of Wales, who serves as the President of the Football Association, shared that Prince Louis has offered his advice to England's footballers ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament.
Today, Prince William met with England manager Gareth Southgate and the 26-man squad as they prepare for the tournament, which begins on Friday.
Prince William revealed that he asked his three young children, Prince George 10, Princess Charlotte 9, and Prince Louis 6, if they had any messages he should convey to the footballers.
He added that Louis suggested the players should eat twice the normal amount of food they consume to prepare for the tournament.
William said: "I was on the school run this morning with the children and said what should I say to the England team when I see them today.
"The best bit of advice I got was to eat twice the amount you normally eat.
"So I'm now having visions of all of you running around with massive tummies and loads of stitches on the pitch. So I think maybe take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt."
Princess Kate's appearance at the Trooping the Colour event this weekend looks to be in doubt after the royal apologised to the Irish Guards for missing the Colonel's Review at the weekend.
The royal has taken a step back from her duties whilst she has preventative chemotherapy for her recent cancer diagnosis.
The princess wrote: “I wanted to write and let you know how proud I am of the entire Regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour. I appreciate everyone trooping this year has been practising for months, and dedicating many hours to ensuring their uniforms and drills are immaculate.
"Being your Colonel remains a great honour, and I am very sorry that I’m unable to take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review. Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however, I do hope that I can represent you all once again very soon. Please send my very best wishes and good luck to all involved. Quis separabit.”
Trooping the Colour is due to take place on Saturday, June 15 and traditionally members of Royal Family gather on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
However, Kate's recent absence has caused speculation as to whether the future Queen will be well enough to appear.
The princess is thought to be "considering" an appearance on the balcony but "only if she is well enough."
