BTS sent fans, referred to as ARMY, into a frenzy as they geared up to reunite on Jin’s release day from his mandatory military service.
On Monday, June 10, Koreaboo reported that the members of the widely acclaimed South Korean band RM, J Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are slated to gather on the event of the oldest member’s discharge from the military, scheduled on Wednesday, June 12.
According to Dispatch, the bandmates announced, "We are planning to gather to welcome our ‘eldest brother’ from the military."
They all have applied for special leaves to join Jin, who was the first BTS member to enlist in the military services in December 2023 and serve for 18 months.
"It is known that other members have already applied for vacation," they added to the delighted revelation.
The iconic boy band initially planned to receive Jin directly at the unit, however, in the wake of some safety concerns, they will mark the celebration under the radar in a private setting in Seoul.
Additionally, the 31-year-old South Korean singer-songwriter will not spare a day to meet his fans as BigHit Music recently announced that the Moon crooner will attend the 2023 Festa at Seoul’s Jamsil Sports Complex, a day after his discharge on June 13.
