Martin Lawrence locks hands with ex-wife at ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ premiere
Martin Lawrence and Shamicka Gibbs got divorced in 2012
Martin Lawrence celebrated the premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die in Los Angeles with his former wife, Shamicka Gibbs, and his three daughters.
According to People Magazine, the Bad Boys star held hands with his ex-wife and posed alongside his daughters on the red carpet on Thursday, May 30.
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2010 only to get divorced in 2012, shares two daughters, Iyanna Faith, 23, and Amara Trinity, 21.
Meanwhile, the 59-year-old actor shares 28-year-old Jasmine Page with Patricia Southall, whom he married in the 1990s before his relationship with Gibbs.
Lawrence and Gibbs remained friends for 15 years before exchanging vows. After their divorce, he sparked dating rumours with Roberta Moradfar, while Gibbs went on to marry Antwuan "Ace" Hill in 2022.
It is pertinent to note that though Lawrence proposed to Moradfor in April 2017, they parted ways. They were last spotted together at an Oscar party in February 2020.
His co-star, Will Smith, was also joined by his beloved wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and his grown-up kids at the premiere.
The fourth instalment in the Bad Boys franchise marked Smith and Lawrence’s reunion after nearly 30 years. They last starred together in the 1995 original action film.
