Real Madrid vs Dortmund: A clash of titans in Champions League final

The Champions League final is just around the corner as Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will clash this Saturday.

The showdown is expected to be thrill the fans. 

Real Madrid have set their eyes to be crowned European champions for the 15th time as they hit the ground in Wembley. The Spanish giants are the favourites given their unparalleled run in the competition so far. However, Dortmund's amazing run  in the contest also cannot be underestimated.

Real Madrid have lost only twice in 54 games. They continued their stellar form, storming to the title in La Liga by 10 points and thrashing Barcelona 4-1 to lift the Spanish Super Cup along the way.

Jude Bellingham, who left Dortmund 12 months ago, now dons the Madrid jersey and is eager to win.

"I came here because I wanted to win, and to expect it," said Bellingham.

"It is a bit greedy almost, but you have to be confident when you're playing with so many great players."

On the other hand, Dortmund, despite their domestic struggles, have shone on the European stage. They have overcome tough opponents like Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid. Their coach, Edin Terzic, a Dortmund fan himself, is determined to win the Champions League title.

"They've prepared their season around the run in the Champions League," Bellingham said praising Dortmund’s amazing run.

"They've played amazingly, the character and mentality they've shown in a lot of games. They've had a tough run to the final as well and you have to respect that."
