King Charles will attend the Trooping the Colour ceremony next month.
The monarch is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, which initially cast doubt on his attendance at the royal event. However, it has been confirmed today that the King will be present for his official Birthday Parade.
A significant change will occur in King Charles's role during the ceremony. Instead of inspecting the soldiers on horseback, the King will do so from a carriage at next month’s Trooping the Colour event.
Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales yet to decide whether their children will attend Trooping the Colour.
Princess Kate and Prince William are set to make a major decision regarding Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, according to GB News' Royal Correspondent.
As the Princess of Wales remains out of the public eye, the couple must determine if their children will participate in the King’s birthday parade, Trooping the Colour.
Trooping the Colour, held every June, celebrates the sovereign’s birthday with senior members of the Royal Family in attendance.
