Amitabh Bachchan reminisced about the enjoyable time he had with Abhishek Bachchan during the filming of Kajra Re.
As Bunty Aur Babli celebrated its 19th anniversary this week, the 81-year-old Bollywood actor shared a throwback still from Kajra Re on X, featuring himself, Abhishek, and Aishwarya Rai, all synchronizing their hook steps.
The Sholay star penned, “The song became so popular that it still regenerates attention and love .. and the best moments with the song, Bhaiyu, were when we performed this live on stage."
In Shaad Ali's 2005 hit comedy caper Bunty Aur Babli, the acclaimed dance track showcased the talents of Amitabh Bachchan, alongside his son Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai.
As soon as he shared the pose, fans pondered why Amitabh didn't include Aishwarya in his post, given that she was undoubtedly the standout performer in the song.
One user wrote, “Sorry to say but Kajra Re was all about Aishwarya. Both of you were just supporting dancers in that song."
While another commented, “But the credit for its popularity goes not to you but to Aishwarya, because I believe that if only you were there then it would have been popular, but because of Aishwarya it became most popular (smile emoji).”
