‘Wolfs’ trailer features George Clooney, Brad Pitt reunite for action
George Clooney and Brad Pitt star together in Jon Watts' upcoming thriller ‘Wolfs’
Brad Pitt and George Clooney reunite to star in their upcoming thriller Wolfs, rivalling each other in a recently released trailer.
The Jon Watts’ movie, by Sony Pictures, is set to hit theatres on September 20. The cast includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams and Poorna Jagannathan other than Pitt and Clooney.
The thriller comes from Apple Studios and is based on the rivalry of two lone-wolf professional fixers tapped to execute the same gig.
Wolfs is directed and written by Watts Spider-Man: No Way Home, being produced by Clooney and Grant Heslov for Smokehouse Pictures.
Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner produce the movie for Plan B Entertainment. Watts and Dianne McGunigle are also overseeing productions.
In the Wednesday released trailer, Clooney portrays a professional fixer, who is hired to cover up a crime.
“There’s nobody who can do who I do,” he says as he gets on his mission.
Still, he is outraged and shocked when Pitt, another fixer, appears out of nowhere. During what becomes a "long night," the two "lone wolves" must cooperate after realising that the person they had both supposed to be dead is actually still alive.
Both Clooney and Pitt's characters acknowledge that, despite their similarities—from their speech patterns to their wardrobe—they are not made to work together.
