More shocking claims have emerged regarding Queen Letizia’s alleged cheating on King Felipe.
In his new book, Letizia’s Silences, published recently, journalist Jaime Peñafiel, 91, divulged the Spanish monarch’s reaction to the Queen’s infidelity.
He previously accused her of having an affair with her former brother-in-law Jamie del Burgo, leading him to be sacked by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
As per recent claims, King Felipe had been aware of his wife’s affair “in real time,” noting her bodyguards are obligated to keep tabs on her whereabouts all the time.
The author alleged the Queen was accompanied by her bodyguards on her trip to New York in 2011 with her purpoted lover, whom she dated before marrying the King.
“That day [in New York], she was accompanied by her faithful escorts, who, without a doubt, any, they would pass a report to the Ministry of the Interior or [the Palace of] Zarzuela,” he wrote in the book.
Following this, Jaime claimed that Felipe has been left “crushed and destroyed” by his wife's alleged cheating.
He noted Felipe has been “plunged into hell” by his wife's supposed “betrayal” and “wants to get out”.
