Janhvi Kapoor breaks silence on wedding rumors with Shikhar Pahariya

Janhvi Kapoor responded to recent rumors suggesting that she will be marrying Shikhar Pahariya soon.

During an interview with Times of India, the 27-year-old Bollywood diva discussed reading reports about her purported marriage plans and confirming her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya.

The Bawaal actress said, "I read something very stupid just recently where they said that I have confirmed some relationship that I am going to get married soon. People mixed up 2-3 articles saying I am getting married."

"They are getting me married in a week which I am not okay with (laughs). I want to work at the moment," she added.

This isn't the initial instance where Janhvi has responded to relationship rumors.

Earlier this month, when an Instagram paparazzi page suggested that Janhvi would wed Shikhar at Tirupati Temple, clad in a gold saree, the Mili actor swiftly dismissed the speculation with a brief yet amusing comment, writing, "Whatever."

Reportedly, both of them have been in a relationship for a few years.

Regarding her professional endeavors, Janhvi will next be seen in her upcoming Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, co-starring Rajkumar Rao. The film is scheduled to release on May 31, 2024.

Additionally, she will also appear in Ulajh and will be marking her Telugu debut with Devara: Part 1.
