Dubai is set to open its second opera house, the Azizi Venice Opera House, in the city’s south.
This $8 billion project by Azizi Developments is expected to be completed between 2025 and 2028 and is billed as a shining example of luxury and creative expression, Vogue reported.
The Azizi Venice Opera House dubbed the "floating masterpiece," will be surrounded by Crystal Lagoon and set against a flowing fountain.
The venue will stand out in gold and have 2,000 seats.
Azizi Venice is expected to develop into a community centred on an opulent boulevard intended for leisure and enjoyment.
The boulevard will be a bustling hub for locals and tourists alike, lined with a variety of food options, luxury shops, and exciting nightlife and entertainment venues.
The area will have two five-star hotels, 109 upscale villas, and over 34,000 apartments.
Nature enthusiasts can explore approximately 18,000 kilometres of connected lagoons, beaches, and boardwalks, integrating natural beauty with urban sophistication.
In addition to offering year-round shopping and entertainment, this area will feature an outdoor space in the winter and a glass-covered area during the summer months in the city.
With this magnificent project, Dubai aims to attract international talent and spotlight regional artists.
