The world's leading technology company Google always is always looking to enhance the user experience of its products. The commitment of the tech company is evident in its recent update announcement for the Google Play Store.
According to a new report by Android Authority, the new update focuses on in-app payments.
Google has introduced an "Ask someone else to pay for this item" button in the Google Play Store interface. This button functions as its name implies. If you are purchasing an app or game and you want someone else to pay on your behalf, you can go for this option.
So, with this button, you can approach your friends or family members, asking them to pay for the app you are purchasing. However, this Google Play Store feature will be rolled out for users in India, followed by other markets.
If you go for the option of "Ask someone else to pay for this item,” Google will warn you that the person making the payment on your behalf should know their email address. Plus, the payer can also see the item that you are purchasing.
Once you use the option, the payer will have 24 hours to complete the purchase. If he/she fails to pay, the payment link will expire. If you press this payment option, a link is generated on your behalf and shared with your friends or family members via emails or their preferred apps.
