Before the IPL 2024 final, scheduled for May 26, 2024, Shah Rukh Khan disclosed the "saddest moment" during his tenure as KKR's owner.
During an interview with Star Sports, the broadcaster of IPL 2024, the 58-year-old Bollywood actor described his team as the "nicest in the world" while also discussing specific moments that left him feeling "sad" as an owner.
The Pathaan actor said, "Having the nicest set of team in the world and we kept on losing only again and again."
He revealed that what saddened him the most was the questioning of his team's attire during the initial stages.
SRK divulged, "I still remember, which was the saddest moment, 'someday said to me 'only their playing kit is nice, not their game'. I remember some expert talking this."
"It used to hurt. To come back with GG (Gautam Gambhir) and do this was outstanding. It taught us how to lose but never be losers and never give up hope. Sports teaches you that," he added.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh was last seen in the film Dunki, released on December 21, 2024.
He is now gearing up for King, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
The film reportedly stars his daughter, Suhana Khan, and Shah Rukh will play a Don, reminiscent of his iconic role.
