Model Crystal McKinney has sued the rapper, alleging that he drugged and sexually assaulted her at his New York City studio in 2003, as per the legal documents obtained by E! News May 21.
McKinney, who has modelled for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Macy's, claims in the filing documents that she was invited by an anonymous designer to a Men's Fashion Week dinner at Cipriani Downtown, where they told her that she'd be introduced to Combs, which will ultimately help her in advancing her career.
Before the event, the model, 22 at the time, said she was told to alter her look by dyeing her hair and buying a new ensemble to make sure that the Bad Boy Records founder found her attractive, the suit claims.
The filing further accuses the 54-year-old of making "flirtatious" remarks towards McKinney, alongside promising her to help her "make it big one day" during the dinner.
She was later invited to his studio to "get to know her better."
The filing further details that Combs and an associate pressured her into smoking and drinking at the studio, and forced her into getting drunk and feeling like she was "floating".
Combs then allegedly forced McKinney to follow him into the bathroom, where he "began kissing her without her consent".
She also states in the lawsuit that became unconscious shortly after and woke up "in shock", finding herself in the back of a taxi en route to the designer's apartment.
Now, through the lawsuit filing, McKinney is looking for compensatory and punitive damages in the case, coverage of her attorneys' fees and costs, and also a trial by jury.
