Prince George and Prince Archie are unlikely to attend the wedding ceremony of their godfather Hugh Grosvenor due to ongoing feud between Prince William and Harry.
George will likely be at school on the day of the wedding, which falls on Friday, June 7. The heir-to-the-throne attends Lambrook School in Windsor with his younger siblings Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
However, Prince Archie is not expected to travel to the UK as his father Prince Harry has reportedly turned down the invitation to Hugh’s big day over fears that he has been left out of the wedding because he hasn’t been asked to play a role in the ceremony.
The Prince of Wales may be the only senior royal in attendance at the Duke of Westminster's wedding to Olivia Henson. Princess Kate will also not attend the ceremony as she is recovering from cancer treatment.
Like William, Harry has long shared a strong friendship with the Duke of Westminster, 33, who is also a godfather to Prince Archie, five. Around 400 guests have been invited to the wedding which will take place at Chester Cathedral.
The Duke of Sussex is said off the guest list at the "society event of the year" due to his bitter rift with big brother William.
Due to the fallout between Harry and William, Their sons will also be missing the opportunity to see each other.
William will be serving as usher, while his son Prince George - who counts Hugh as one of his godparents - will also be involved, according to The Times.
It was previously rumoured that Hugh did not invite Harry to the wedding due to the fractious relationship between the feuding brothers, but sources told the Daily Mail that the 39-year-old simply decided to skip the nuptials as he felt "put out" he hadn't been asked to be an usher.
