Meghan Markle received a title of a role model for young Nigerian women after she was included in the list of most disliked celebrities of 2024.
For the unversed, Meghan and Prince Harry have been recently included in the list of the most disliked celebrities of 2024 by Rankers.
Now, Nigerian-American economist Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala opened up about the couple's three day trip to the African country and showered praises on the former Suits actress.
As reported by The Mirror, Ngozi said that Meghan is a "role model for young women, she’s a woman who is not in an easy position, and people are looking to see—how is she managing and navigating this? That’s one of the things she brings: inspiration."
She added, "You can see in spite of that, she’s a cheerful, warm personality, and everybody in the room took to her."
It is pertinent to mention that Harry and Meghan's Nigeria visit has reportedly upset King Charles.
The cancer-stricken Monarch has been planning to put a stop to any future trips made by the couple to other commonwealth countries, claimed a royal expert Tom Quinn during an old interview with The Mirror.
