50 Cent has once again targeted Diddy following the release of a disturbing video depicting the rapper's violent assault on his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in 2016.
50 Cent took to Instagram to share the video, sarcastically casting doubt on Diddy's innocence and speculating about his potential legal defense.
The footage, acquired by CNN, captures Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, in a shirtless state with a towel around his waist, pursuing Ventura down the corridors of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
As depicted in the video, he allegedly forcibly grabbed Ventura by the back of her head and violently slammed her onto the ground as she attempted to enter an elevator.
He purportedly kicked her while she lay motionless before seizing the two designer bags she had been carrying in an attempt to flee the scene.
Ventura, in a now-settled lawsuit, claimed that Diddy had reportedly paid the hotel $50,000 for the footage of the incident.
In response to the released footage, Cassie's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that the video further confirms Diddy's alarming behavior.
He commended Ventura for her bravery in coming forward with her story.
Notably, just two days after the 2016 assault, Diddy and Ventura appeared together on the red carpet for the premiere of The Perfect Match.
Ventura filed a lawsuit against Diddy last year, alleging rape and various other offenses, which was settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.
