Alison Hammond recently broke her silence after sparking engagement rumours with boyfriend David Putman.
This came after the 49-year-old presenter flaunted a giant diamond ring on her finger on Friday, May 17 on This Morning.
Previously, Hammond and her toyboy boyfriend went public with their relationship after she booked him as her masseur.
During a candid conversation with Dermot O’Leary for showbiz headlines, Alison quickly skimmed through her iPad, exclaiming: "'Oh my god apparently I am engaged?!'"
Squashing the rumours, the presenter confirmed that it was all false and she had accidentally put her ring “on the wrong finger.”
She shockingly said: “Oh I have put this on the wrong finger," adding, "Let me swap it over to stop these rumours.”
Hammond added: “It is just a cheap ring from Primark. It's nice isn't it?! Lets swap it over as we don't want those rumours.”
For the unversed, the couple’s relationship gained popularity last month after they decided to go public.
Despite their 23-year-age gap, David is apparently head over heels in love with the TV personality.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, a source opened up about David’s mother Olga, who is not onboard with the decision.
It said: “She's uncomfortable that her son is with someone who has so much more financial power than him. Olga’s traditional values don’t sit well with their relationship.”
