Jennifer Lopez, Ben Afleck not splitting amid marital issues

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are not separating.

“Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage,” a source told Us Weekly of Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51. “They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour.”

Lopez will start off her This Is Me … Live tour next month in Orlando.

The tour came after the singer launched her ninth album, This Is Me … Now in February, along with a film titled This Is Me … Now: A Love Story was also released.

“Jen is very focused on work,” the insider told Us. “They are on two completely different pages most of the time.”

The insider continues, stating that Lopez just viewed a Los Angeles residence that she believes is meant to be an investment. Affleck has been residing at an address in Los Angeles that is different from the couple's typical residence, according to a second source.

While a third source mentions that the couple is improving their relationship, the second insider also claims that the two are not now going to part ways.
