Keanu Reeves wants to reunite with Sandra Bullock in Speed 3?
Keanu Reeves expresses his wish to star alongside Sandra Bullock in Speed sequel
Keanu Reeves has recently revealed he wants to make third Speed movie with Sandra Bullock.
While speaking on the 50 MPH podcast in a joint interview with Sandra, the Matrix alum confessed he and the Miss Congeniality actress could "pull off a Speed sequel" now.
"I mean, you know– we’d freakin’ knock it out of the park," said Keanu.
The John Wick actor mentioned, "There is a siren call pulling him to a Speed sequel," and he would "love to work with Sandra again before our eyes close".
Not only Keanu, Sandra also expressed her desire to work with her The Lake House co-star again.
"Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,” stated the 59-year-old.
Interestingly, Sandra did a sequel to original 1994's movie Speed in 1997 titled Speed 2: Cruise Control. But Keanu declined the project and was replaced by Jason Patric.
Reflecting on his decision on The Graham Norton Show in 2021, Keanu mentioned, "At the time I didn’t respond to the script."
"I really wanted to work with Sandra Bullock, I loved playing Jack Traven, and I loved Speed, but an ocean liner?" continued the Sweet November actor.
Keanu added, "I had nothing against the artists involved, but at the time I had the feeling it just wasn’t right."
