Barron Trump's father, Donald Trump, is apparently getting ready to be the star of a fundraiser in Minnesota a few hours after Barron Trump's graduation celebrations.
The 77-year-old former president will be the featured speaker at the Minnesota Republican Party's annual Lincoln Reagan dinner, the party announced on Monday, May 6, according to People.
Local news sources have reported that Barron's high school graduation in West Palm Beach, Florida, coincides with the GOP fundraiser in Saint Paul, Minnesota. However, the dinner's formal details have not yet been made public.
Earlier on May 17, Donald filed a request with the Manhattan criminal court to put his "hush money" trial on hold so he could go to Florida to attend the graduation ceremonies with his family.
Judge Juan Merchan granted the defendant's request after giving it some thought. He stated that since the trial had been moving according to plan, he thought there would be enough time to postpone the proceedings for one day in order to accommodate the Trumps.
On the other hand, witness depositions in Donald Trump's hush-money trial are underway in New York for the third week.
The star of adult films in the trial, Stormy Daniels, talks about meeting Trump at a golf event as her attorneys argue over details of an alleged sexual encounter.
