Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the world’s second-richest man. His net worth hovers around $200 billion, depending on the stock price, Simple Flying reported.
As the executive chairman of the biggest e-commerce company, Bezos has to constantly travel for meetings and attend events.
With constant obligations around the globe, it makes sense to own personal jets to fly around.
As per reports, the Amazon owner owns two business jets, named Gulfstream G650ERs.
Both the jets are owned by Poplar Glen LLC, one of Bezos holding companies for investments and assets. The jets are equipped with two Rolls-Royce BR700 turbofan engines and have 22 seats in them.
The oldest of the two jets, N271DV, was originally purchased in 2015 and has been used 34 times this year, for a total of 85 hours of flight time.
Meanwhile, the second business jet, the N758PB, has been used 41 times this year, for a total of 119 hours of flight time. The jet was purchased in 2019.
Prior to owning these jets, Bezos owned a Dassault Falcon-900EX, which he sold in 2015. The Amazon founder also owns a hangar at Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington, which he bought in 2015 for $5.5 million.
In addition to jets, Bezos also owns a luxury yacht, which is the world’s largest sailing yacht.
