Meta has launched a new artificial intelligence tool across all its social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, Zdnet reported.
Meta calls the AI assistant a way to "get things done, learn, create, and connect with the things that matter to you."
It works similar to ChatGPT but has a small little twist.
The Meta AI chatbot lets you create images with a simple prompt "imagine". You can use the feature to create images out of personal references or to make business advertisements by providing a description of what you want.
Although the feature has been received positively, some have voiced their frustration with accidently tapping the chatbot again and again while trying to search for a profile.
Turns out you can’t disable Meta AI from any platform, but you can mute it instead.
To mute the chatbot on WhatsApp, open the AI chat, go to its profile, there will be an option to mute. Choose how long you want the notifications to remain on mute, and voila its done.
To mute it on Instagram and Facebook, follow the same instructions as above.
