Victoria Beckham has recently spilled the secret to her happy marriage to her husband David.
In a new interview with Elle Spain magazine, the fashion designer, who tied the knot with former footballer for 25 years, opened up about her relationship with David despite giving a peek in last year’s BECKHAM documentary on Netflix.
While praising her husband, Victoria said, “My husband is an inspiration to me. Do we look like the couple seen in the Netflix documentary? Yes. We like to have fun, chat, dance, drink.”
“And laugh at each other,” continued the 50-year-old.
The former Spice Girls band member stated, “That's what it takes to be happy. I believe a lot in laughter, family and friendship.”
“I realise that we have become a model. People like to see relationships that last,” added Victoria.
David’s wife also maintained that she is from a “working-class background” even though she received criticism for mentioning in Netflix documentary that she was “from a working-class background”.
Speaking with the magazine, Victoria pointed out, “I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth.”
“Deep down, I and David both share the same values. We come from the same background. Our families worked hard to raise us,” she said.
Victoria explained, “My father made money and then went bankrupt. Neither David nor I were born with a silver spoon in our mouths. We have a rule of equality, whether in taking care of the house or children.”
Meanwhile, the interview came after David penned a heartwarming tribute to his wife as she turned 50 on Wednesday (April 17).
