Parineeti Chopra thanks 'Chamkila' team for bringing her character to life

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra shared behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Amar Singh Chamkila.

Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the 35-year-old actress shared a post, featuring a carousel of pictures, offering glimpses into her process of embodying the character of Amarjot Kaur, the wife of Amar Singh Chamkila, in the film.

The initial picture depicted Parineeti reading the script in her character's attire, while another image showed the actress with a gunshot wound on her face, smiling behind the scenes.

In one picture, Parineeti and her co-star Diljit Dosanjh were captured in a lively scene where the Lemonade vocalist was singing, while subsequent images featured the Hasee Toh Phasee actress in Gurudwara.

In the post, the Ishaqzaade actress expressed gratitude to her hair, makeup, and costume team for their support in helping her portray the character effectively and look the part.

Parineeti captioned the post, “Shoutout to my glam team, for making me Chamkila (shine) as Amarjot, for all the fun-filled days at Gurudwara, and for capturing Amarjot throughout the film in these stills.”

As soon as the actress shared the post, fans took to the comment section to praise Parineeti's dedication and the efforts of her team.

The film, Chamkila starring Parineeti Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh was released on April 12, 2024.
