Imtiaz Ali's movie, which is a biopic based on the tragic murder of the renowned Punjabi singer, has been receiving good reviews from the audience.
On April 14, Parineeti took to her Instagram and penned a heartfelt note, expressing gratitude towards the film's success.
She wrote, "I am glad that I was able to make an impact with my work in Chamkila. This is something I've waited for years."
Previously, Parineeti showered praise on the director of the movie, Imtiaz Ali, her co-star and male lead Diljit Dosanjh, music director A. R. Rahman and the entire team.
In a sweet Instagram post, the actress wrote, "@imtiazaliofficial sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard."
Speaking of her "perfect" co-star Diljit, the Ishaqzaade actress said the Punjabi singer-actor made every moment on set "enjoyable and effortless."
