Aayush Sharma mentioned that his brother-in-law Salman Khan inquired about his earnings and was impressed with his response.
During a conversation with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa on their YouTube channel Bharti TV, Aayush Sharma reminisced about his initial encounter with Salman Khan, mentioning that the star candidly expressed his opinion that he didn't know how to act.
Aayush recounted that one night he was escorting Arpita back home when she extended an invitation for a movie and dinner at her place.
On which, initially hesitant, Aayush was encouraged to unwind by Arpita. Around 1 am, as they were enjoying TV and dinner, Salman unexpectedly arrived.
Aayush explained the situation saying, “He entered the house and I was standing behind him. And all I could think of was Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. He turned around and I immediately introduced myself, ‘Hi sir, I am Aayush Sharma’. He was also startled and he said ‘I am Salman Khan’. And after this I left."
He also mentioned that the following day, he received a call from Arpita informing him that Salman wished to meet him.
During their interaction, when the 48-year-old inquired about Aayush about his aspirations, he admitted his desire to pursue acting.
On which Salman said, "You don’t know how to act. I wondered how he knew. He said you will have to get the correct training and you can be an actor.”
Furthermore, he also shared that when Salman asked him about his future, Aayush said that he wants to marry Arpita, even though he was just 24 at the time.
“Salman asked me about my earnings. I said I make nothing. My father sends me money and I am living off that. I said, yes there is money in the house but I don’t earn. He looked and Arpita and said ‘this guy is too honest’. He immediately said, ‘I like this boy, shaadi pakki’."
