Rhea Kapoor teases the sequel of her female-led film Crew.
The movie, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in lead roles has earned $12.5 million to date.
In conversation with Variety, the producers of the film Rhea and Ektaa R Kapoor celebrated the success of their new project.
Speaking of the sequel, Rhea shared, "I really get scared of sequels, I’m so afraid of them, Ektaa gets so annoyed with me… but this is the first film where I finished the film and a week later, my writers have messaged me and told me that they have an idea for the sequel."
The celebrity stylist revealed that she might think of the sequel because of the excitement and joy surrounding the film.
Rhea shared, "But I actually think that this film could make a really fun sequel because the end is open ended."
In response, Ektaa added, "Look at these three women, they are hitting it off with each other, the chemistry is banging."
Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film has been jointly produced by Ekta, Rhea, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit.
Apart from Tabu, Kareena and Kriti, Crew also features Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee.
The movie, which hit the theatres on March 29, is running successfully in cinemas globally.
