The makers of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar unveiled the male cast of the much-anticipated project on April 6.
As per the official posters released on Instagram, the male cast includes Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Taha Shah and Adhyayan Suman.
Fardeen Khan will be making his screen comeback as Wali Mohammad.
As per Pinkvilla, he said, "Wali Mohammed embodies the essence of a nawab, always standing by the women of Heeramandi. Marking my Netflix debut with such a character feels like the perfect comeback to the screens."
Shekhar Suman will be seen as Zulfikar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's larger-than-life project.
Speaking of his role, he said, "A towering figure of power and authority, he commands attention effortlessly. I'm eager for the audiences to witness the tale of Heeramandi that's close to all our hearts. It was an exhilarating and enriching experience working with a maestro and an auteur like Mr.Bhansali."
Taha Shah will portray the role of nawab's son Tajdar, whereas, Adhyayan Suman is all set to captivate the audience as Zoravar.
Heeramandi (The Diamond Bazaar) is a period drama based on the life of courtesans in Lahore.
Directed by SLB, the series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in lead roles.
