Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson refuses to endorse Joe Biden, says 'tears me up'
Is Dwayne Johnson running to become president in upcoming US elections 2024?
Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock has made It clear, he will not be endorsing any presidential candidates this year and especially not Joe Biden.
During an interview with Fox News, reported by Variety, The Rock said: "The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time. I thought, 'I'm in this position where I have some influence and I felt it was my job then to exercise my influence.'"
He reiterated that he is not going to do that anymore as what his endorsement did during the 2020 election was create "division".
He said: "What my endorsement caused was something that tears me up in my guts — which is division. I didn’t realize that then, I just felt like there was a lot of unrest and I’d like things to calm down."
When host Will Cain asked Johnson if he was happy with the state of America, he replied: "No."
Further breaking hearts, Johnson also clarified that he does not intend on running for the president anymore
Rock in 2017 had first floated the idea of running for president saying it was a "realistic consideration" for 2024.
In a podcast in 2022, he had revealed that several parties approached him to run for president after a political poll claimed that 46% of Americans would vote for him.
