Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a once in a lifetime voyage spanning across six continents, 40 countries and 73 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The ship's voyage, spread over 20 weeks, will travel to 71 ports with layovers in Bali, Sydney and Mumbai.
The most affordable room on the cruise is a $91,499 per guest. While the regent suite designed for two has a price tag of $839,999 per guest, amounting to $1.7 million.
The suite is designed with the finest marble, and features crystal chandeliers, hand-blown vases, a custom Steinway Grand Maroque Piano by Dakota Jackson and two rare original lithographs painted by Pablo Picasso.
Those staying in the luxurious suite will also have a personal butler, a full bar setup and access to a private dining room.
The VIP treatment doesn’t end here; suite travellers will also be provided first class air tickets to any location either domestically or internationally, and access to a personal car, driver and guide in every port along the way.
According to the president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Andrea DeMarco, "the cruise line has seen a fantastic response since announcing the voyage earlier this week, and that there's been strong interest among prospective passengers in the $1.7 million Regent Suite."
