Virat Kohli recently opened up about the surreal experience of welcoming his second child with wife-actress Anushka Sharma.
For the unversed, the globally known cricketer's IPL team RCB won the match against Punjab Kings on March 25.
During the post-match presentation ceremony, Virat revealed that they welcomed their son away from the limelight.
As reported by Indian Express, he shared, "We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months."
He added, "For me, for us as a family, it was a surreal experience."
During another interview with Harsha Bhogle, the run-machine of the Indian cricket team expressed immense gratitude for being able to spend quality time with family.
Virat said, "Of course, having two kids, things become totally different from a family perspective. So just the ability to be together, the connections that you make with your older child, it’s amazing."
It is pertinent to mention here that Anushka and Virat welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, on February 15, 2024.
The couple also shares a 3-year-old daughter named Vamika.
