Tabu gives insight into why 'Crew' makers signed her in film

Tabu explained why the filmmakers cast her in the movie Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon.

At the trailer launch of Crew, the 52-year-old actress was questioned about why directors choose her for certain roles, on which Tabu joked that it could be because she's known for scolding people, saying, "They hire me in movies to scold."

During the conversation, Kareena also talked about her experience working with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. 

The 43-year-old actress shared, "I think I am super excited because I got to work with Tabu for the first time. Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) has worked with her so much."

"I had the opportunity and the honor of finally sharing screen space with her and of, course with the supremely talented and lovely Kriti Sanon. I really hope the film does well. Rajesh has made I think a super funny film. Super happy and excited."

The highly awaited movie Crew is directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan and has a strong team including Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor.

Alongside, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, the film's star-studded cast also includes Diljit Dosanjh and a cameo by Kapil Sharma.

The film is set to release in theaters on March 29, 2024.
