A medical expert has shared latest update on Princess Kate's health and recovery at Adelaide Cottage, claiming she is being closely monitored amid speculations about her health woes.

The Princess of Wales is going through one of the toughest phases of her life these days as she's recovering after major abdominal surgery and facing social media backlash over photo scandal.

During her absence from spotlight, her husband is also being linked to her pal Rose Hanbury, who has already rejected any rumours of affairs with William.

Giving latest update on her health, a medical specialist, on GB News, explained how Princess Kate is likely handling her recuperation at Adelaide Cottage, where she lives with Prince William and their three children.

Dr James Thompson, from Simply Aesthetic, said: "Depending on the severity of abdominal surgery, patients are typically advised to get up on their feet and walk in the early stages of the recovery.

"We would expect that Kate is encouraged to do the same and will keep active during her stay at Adelaide Cottage."

The health specialist stressed that Catherine will not be doing any tiring activities as she recuperates from her surgery, claiming: "We do not imagine she will be doing any heavy lifting or vigorous exercise at this time."

Dr James went on saying: "We expect Kate to be closely monitored and on a strict diet to assist with her recovery."

However, Kensington Palace chose not to reveal further details about the operation and Kate's recovery, but did note it was "successful", adding she's "doing well".

Prince Kate is expected to return to public duties this Easter if everything goes as per plans and her health does not deteriorate amid unfair social media backlash.
