Graham Smith, anti-monarchy group Republic chief, has appeared defending Prince William in his latest statement amid rumours about the future King's alleged affair with his wife Kate Middleton's pal Rose Hanbury.
Turning to X (formerly known Twitter) on Saturday, Anti-monarchy group chief wrote: "It’s a rumour that’s persisted for several years. Someone usually in the know once told me there’s no evidence, but who knows? Would hardly be surprising if true."
However, Kate Middleton has not shared any statement on her husband William's alleged affair with her pal Rose Hanbury.
On the other hand, British TV presenter Piers Morgan claims William is "trying to cover something up," revealing that he's "been told some" things which he can't confirm are true, but if they are, it's quite worrying what's going on with the royal family.
Smith was responding to Dr Shola’s tweet, in which she wrote: "Wait….. where have I been? Who the hell is Lady Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley? Seriously, is there any truth to affair or was it a fling or is it just wishful thinking by some? I’m seeing media talking about it so something must be happening in #KateGate."
Royal commentator Shola took no time to react to Smith's statement, saying: “Wow.... I think other people's marriages are their damn business but if true I think Royal Family will have a hard time surviving another 'Camilla gate."
