Amitabh Bachchan was seen at the ISPL match with his son Abhishek Bachchan, where he clarified that the rumors about him being in the hospital all day were untrue.

On the night of March 16, 2024, picture and videos circulating on social media showed the 81-year-old actor and Abhishek at Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, watching the last match of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) between Majhi Mumbai and Tiigers of Kolkata.

In a video that is making rounds on the internet, the Sholay actor could be seen leaving the stadium when someone from the crowd asks about his health.

At first, he signals with his hands to show that everything is okay, then Amitabh says, "Fake" news referring to the rumors about his health.

This came shortly after speculation about his hospitalization circulated, during which rumors suggested he underwent angioplasty surgery.

The purpose of the angioplasty varied in reports, with some stating it was for a blockage in his leg while others claimed it was for a blocked artery.

However, neither the hospital nor the Don actor's office officially confirmed any details for most of the day.
