Yami Gautam, set to collaborate with her husband Aditya Dhar for Dhoom Dhaam, discussed their forthcoming project, and their strong bond despite being in the competitive film industry.
During an exclusive interview with News 18, the 35-year-old actress joked that while she doesn't anticipate her husband casting her in all his movies, she still dreams of playing the main character in Dhoom Dhaam, even though it's male-centric.
The Article 370 famed also mentioned that after reading Aditya's new script, she wished she were a man, saying, “The script is so brilliant. It’s such an amazing world. Regardless of that, I don’t have that expectation."
Discussing her bond with husband, Yami said, “There’s this trust that we’ve in each other as individuals and professionals. He’s the same person who cast me in Uri and gave me Article 370 and Dhoom Dhaam."
She also revealed that when it comes to casting for his movies, if Aditya believes that someone else is more suitable for the role he's writing, she is okay with it.
Yami explained, “We respect that professional line. I don’t think that the line between professional and personal life should be blurred. We’re very clear about it.”
