More than 12,000 UFO sightings have been reported in the United States from the 1940s to the present, however, as per a Pentagon report, these events were either ordinary objects or military planes and drones, which were thought to be alien technology.
All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), affiliated with the Pentagon released a 63-page review on March 6, 2024, addressing all the accusations validating scenarios that the US government was hiding and reverse-engineering alien technology, according to Interesting Engineering.
The report was based on all the UFO-related investigations from 1945 to March 2024. It signifies that there has been no access of the US Department of Defence with any kind of extraterrestrial beings.
The document calls the UFO as “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).”
“All investigative efforts, at all levels of classification, concluded that most sightings were ordinary objects and phenomena and the result of misidentification. It is worthwhile to note that all official foreign UAP investigatory efforts to date have reached the same general conclusions as USG investigations,” the Aaro report stated.
It further mentioned, “Aaro found no empirical evidence for claims that the USG and private companies have been reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology”
The belief that aliens have visited our planet Earth is part of a visual culture that is further pushed forward by many Hollywood movies and books. On the other hand, it is also a favourite topic for many conspiracy theorists.
The AARO review also suggests, “The proliferation of television programs, books, movies, and the vast amount of internet and social media content centered on UAP-related topics most likely has influenced the public conversation on this topic, and reinforced these beliefs within some sections of the population.”
